Paty Moscoso was born in Rengo, in Chile’s central valley and grew up on a rural estate named El Huapi. Being from a poor peasant family, she left her home at 14 to go to Chile’s capital city Santiago to work. When she was 17 years old Paty learned to knit at a workshop in El Huapi and she has enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and embroidery since then. Paty also enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.
